A family recently shared the heartache of raising children deeply impacted by trauma and how after adoption it doesn’t just magically get better. While this family is brave enough to share their heartache their story isn’t unique, and that’s the devastating part.
Families like this take on the hardest work in our community—loving children who’ve endured the unimaginable.
But love alone cannot heal trauma. Healing takes resources, time, and consistent, therapeutic support. That’s where Stable Moments comes in.
Stable Moments is a trauma-informed mentorship program designed specifically for children from foster care. Its goal is simple but profound: to help children who’ve experienced complex trauma find emotional regulation, resilience, and connection—through consistent mentorship and the powerful, healing presence of the farm and it's animals.
Stable Moments is transformational. However, it costs $250 per month per child to provide this program.
For many families it is a cost they simply cannot carry alone.

We want to give access to the therapeutic tools they need to begin healing. To help them regulate their emotions, to help prevent school expulsions and hospitalizations.
